Dear Sir/Madam,

The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and the Ministry of Education's Innovation Cell (MIC) successfully organized the first edition of the “Innovation, Design, and Entrepreneurship (IDE) Bootcamps.” This initiative, envisioned by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, aims to nurture the innovation, design, and entrepreneurial skills of student innovators and innovation ambassadors from higher education institutions. In the 1st Edition of this program, 25 bootcamps were organized across India in three phases by AICTE and MIC. We encourage all higher education institutions to motivate their students to participate in the IDE Bootcamp and to spread this information within the student community.

Now, in the Second Edition of IDE Bootcamp (Phase I), AICTE and MIC are organizing 10 Bootcamps at the following locations (one Bootcamp per location) during the period of 23rd September 2024 - 27th September 2024 (Tentative):

Jaipur (Rajasthan)
Visakhapatnam (Andhra Pradesh)
Jammu and Kashmir (Jammu and Kashmir)
Trichy (Tamil Nadu)
Sambalpur (Odisha)
Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh)
Kottayam/Kochi (Kerala)
This is an incredible opportunity for students and early-stage incubated startups with ground breaking project ideas to gain the skills and support needed to bring their innovations to life.

Who Should Apply?

Students: If you have an innovative project idea and are enrolled in an undergraduate or postgraduate program at a recognized institution, this bootcamp is for you.
Incubated Start-ups in academic Institutions: Applications are welcome from early-stage companies that have a distinct innovation emphasis and have been nurtured at a local incubation facility. Preferably, a prototype or Minimum Viable Product (MVP) is being developed.
 

The bootcamp is a 5-day residential training program where student teams from higher education institutions and startup teams will undergo intensive experiential learning on design aspects of startups, design thinking, business modeling, financial planning, and enterprise planning, followed by mentoring and pitching rounds. Accommodation and meals will be provided to participants during the IDE Bootcamps.
