ADDITION / SUBSTITUTION
- The online process for addition/ substitution for First Degree and Higher Degree students will be scheduled during January 25, 2023 (starting from 10 AM) to January 27, 2023 (up to 11:59 PM).
- The list of seats available for addition/ substitution in various Elective courses will be made available on AUGS-AGSR Division website (https://academic.bits-pilani.ac.in/). You can apply for other course(s) also which are not mentioned in the list, however, registration will only be allowed in case of availability of seats vacating due to substituting out by other students in that course(s).
- Addition and Substitution requests will be submitted through AUGS-AGSR Division website
- The criteria for the addition/ substitution of course(s) will be as follows:
- As per the semester wise pattern for First Degree students of various disciplines, requests for the Humanities elective courses will be processed in the order starting from second year to final year based on the priority number (reverse order) of a student.
- Requests for the discipline and open elective courses (other than Humanities) will be processed in the order starting from final year to second year based on the priority number (reverse order) of a student. For a particular course, first preference will be given to the student of same discipline followed by minor student (if any) and then others.
- Students should ensure that the requested course for addition/ substitution fits in their existing Time Table without any clash. Addition/ substitution request will automatically stand cancel if it creates clash in Time Table.
- As per the semester wise pattern for First Degree students of various disciplines, requests for the Humanities elective courses will be processed in the order starting from second year to final year based on the priority number (reverse order) of a student.

- Compulsory (Core) courses are not allowed for substitution.
- It is individual student’s responsibility, to ensure the eligibility for the course as well as graduation requirements (in terms of number of units and number of courses).
- Compulsory (Core) courses are not allowed for substitution.
FD students admitted in year 2022 can ignore this notice.
