Instructions to students for Mid Semester Examinations (II Sem, 2023-24)

Instructions for Mid Semester Examination (Second Semester 2023-24)

 

• Students must check the Examination schedule and seating arrangement for their courses available on the AUGSD-AGSRD website.
  

 

• All students MUST bring their Institute Identity (ID) Card to appear in the Examination.  Students without an ID card will NOT BE ALLOWED to enter the Examination Hall/Room.
  

 

• In case a student lost his/her ID Card, he/she must immediately apply online for a duplicate ID Card on the SWD website (https://swd.bits-pilani.ac.in/Login.aspx) and collect it at the earliest from the SWD computer lab (#2103 A).
  

 

• After the start of the examination, during checking, if any student is found without an ID card, the Invigilator will collect the question paper & answer sheet and will ask the student to leave the examination room. Such answer sheets will not be considered for evaluation by course IC.   
  

 

• Students must NOT bring any electronic devices such as Mobile phones, Smartwatch/wrist watch, Digital diaries, Palmtop, etc. into the Examination Hall. Digital wall Clocks are available now in all the rooms.
  

 

• Students may bring only transparent pouches for keeping their pen/pencil/calculator etc. opaque pouches are not allowed.
  

 

• Exchange of calculators, geometrical tools, or any such thing will NOT be allowed during examination by the Invigilators.
  

 

• Students must NOT involve themselves in any kind of copying/cheating or the use /attempted use of trickery, artifice, and/or representation of one’s academic work, remove any sheet from the answer book. Do not substitute yourself with any other person to write the examination on your behalf. Do not allow another student to copy your work during the examination. Any such cases reported will be dealt with very strictly as per the guidelines for the punishment of unfair means cases available on the AUGSD-AGSRD website.
  

 

• All students must write an examination. In case of extreme emergency, where makeup is sought, you should see the details mentioned in “Instruction for make-up” available on the AUGSD-AGSRD website.
  

 

• Do NOT leave the exam room/hall without handing over the answer sheet to the Invigilator on duty.
