Dear BITSians, do you believe in the power of the media? In its uncapped potential to shape the beliefs of the masses?


If so, the Hindi Press Club is just the place for you! HPC is one of the oldest clubs on campus, and it has managed to maintain its readership and reputation over the years through its factual, fair and unbiased reporting. It also binds the readers with thought-provoking yet amusing cartoons, spellbinding teasers and coverages of events.


Our annual magazine: “वाणी” and our newsletter: “प्रवाह” provide all essential updates on events taking place at BITS. Throughout the 3 fests, the club reports regularly. The club also covers the happenings in the interests of the GBM on campus. In addition, HPC hosts entertaining events like Bluffmaster, Riot Story, Open Mic Poetic Event "क़ाफ़िया" and Sports Commentary. We also get the golden opportunity to interview dignitaries and chief guests that visit the campus for fests and other events. These include some big names like Apogee Chief Guest IAS.S Nagarajan, Suhani Shah. The work also includes interviewing organizing bodies of respective fests (StuCCA, CoStAA, CoSSAc).


Dear batch of 2023 and 2024, we cordially invite you to join the Hindi Press Club. We seek individuals who want to work with us as Writers , Cartoonists/Digital Artists, Video editors,  Formatters/Graphic designers and Web developers. There aren't any specific requirements for any of these domains except for the passion for journalism and serving the GBM.
