[SU Elections 2023-24] Polling Day Guidelines
STUDENTS' UNION ELECTIONS 2023-24
POLLING DAY GUIDELINES
This is to inform the GBM that the polling for the elections to the posts of Students' Union President, General Secretary, Hostel Representatives, and Day Scholar Representative will be taking place on Sunday, 10th September 2023, from 10:30 AM to 1:00 PM.
The polling will occur in the respective common rooms for all bhavan residents. Polling for Meera Bhavan residents will take place in the Visitor's Room. The Day-Scholar polling will be held in NAB 6156. All students are required to carry their latest BITS ID card when coming to vote, i.e. the ID card issued for the Academic Year 2023-24.
Please note that polling will close strictly at 1 PM. Any students waiting in line at 12:45 PM will be handed out tokens. After the doors close at 1 PM, only those students carrying tokens will be allowed to cast their votes. We request all voters to comply with any instructions and guidelines given by the EC members and volunteers present at the polling stations.
We encourage every member of the GBM to vote in the SU elections.
