Discover SARC: Building Bridges Between Students and Alumni at BITS Pilani
Greetings from the Student Alumni Relations Cell!
The Student Alumni Relations Cell, BITS Pilani (Pilani Campus), is a student-run organization that works under the Alumni Relations Department headed by Prof. Arya Kumar, which works to foster the connection between the esteemed Alumni and the Student Body.
At the Student Alumni Relations Cell, we aim to form meaningful connections between the highly accomplished alumni of our campus and the diligent student community, which seeks guidance from the forebears of BITS Pilani's legacy.
Why jump on the SARC wagon?
At SARC, we give the students the chance to work closely with the alumni in order to create both pan-campus and closed-room events. This allows them the opportunity to learn from and connect with the finest alumni network BITS Pilani offers, demonstrating your work ethic as you help plan and execute alumni projects. Here's a glimpse of what awaits you:
1. Yearbook and Batch Snaps: Overseeing the capture of precious memories and the publication of yearbooks for over 30 branches and nearly 1,000 students.
2. Life in a Dash: Connecting students with alumni from specific fields through sector-themed panels and discussions
3. Director's Tea Party (DIRO): An event for graduating students, fostering meaningful exchanges between professors and students.
4. Podcast "BITS and Beyond": Dive into the journeys of accomplished alumni in various domains, featuring prominent guests who've excelled in their careers.
5. Reunions: Assisting in organizing annual silver, ruby, and golden jubilee reunions, and managing logistical aspects.
