Greetings from the Student Alumni Relations Cell!
Congratulations on making it to BITS Pilani! We hope your time here is fulfilling and enriching.
We, at the Student Alumni Relations Cell, persevere to bridge the gap between the institute and its global alumni network. Entrusted with the responsibility of taking all alumni events from ideation to execution, over the past year we’ve had the opportunity to host events with Hari Menon (Co-Founder and CEO, BigBasket), Manu Sawhney (CEO, International Cricket Council), Akash Gupta (CTO, GreyOrange), Ishan Bansal (Co-founder, Groww), and Manesh Mahatme (Director, Head of WhatsApp pay).
Our work is divided into the following broad verticals, although collaboration is almost always necessary:

Our work is divided into the following broad verticals, although collaboration is almost always necessary:
- Content and Research: Involves connecting and engaging with alumni, maintaining the social media profiles and publishing BITS Echo, our quarterly newsletter.
- Events and Logistics: Coordinating all the homecoming batches’ visits, managing the campaigns and planning all Alumni Engagement Events on campus.
- CSR and Outreach: Corroborating with communities/organizations for CSR.
- Yearbook and Batch Snaps: We are also responsible for conducting the annual photography session, 'Batch Snaps', and for publishing the yearbooks for students of both First Degree and Higher Degree programs.
- Tech, Design, and Video Editing: Tech vertical is essentially involved in maintaining the yearbook portal (which had over 900 users last year) and our portfolio website. Design and Video Editing deals with designing posters and making relevant videos for all our events.
