SOCIETY FOR STUDENT MESS SERVICES ELECTION COMMISSION(Reg. No. 32/JHU/2012-13)(Registered under Rajasthan Societies Act, 1958)

The SSMS Election Commission invites nominations for the positions of Mess Representatives for the academic year 2023–24 for the following messes:- 

1. CV Raman Mess
   
2. Srinivasa Ramanujan Mess
   
3. Rana Pratap - Ashok - Vishwakarma Mess
   
4. Krishna - Gandhi Mess
   
5. Shankar - Vyas Mess
   
6. Ram - Budh Mess
   
7. Malviya Mess
   
8. Meera Mess
   

Procedure for Filing Nominations: 

1. Fill out the nomination form. The list of campaigners must be submitted in the following format.
   
2. The fee for the nomination form is INR 50/- (non-refundable). A security deposit of INR 300/- (refundable) must be deposited at the time of filing nominations. These are to be deposited in cash during manifesto vetting.
   
3. The duly filled nomination forms should be filled in the Google Form, latest by 11:59 PM, September 11, 2023.
   

Procedure for Withdrawing Nominations: A request to withdraw your nomination should be in the form of a letter addressed to the SSMS Election Commission and must briefly state the reasons for withdrawal. This letter may be submitted to any of the undersigned members of the SSMS Election Commission, latest by 11:59 PM, September 12, 2023. 
 Note: The decision of the SSMS Election Commission will be final and binding in all cases.
  
 The updated SSMS Constitution, SSMS General Election Guidelines and the General Election Timeline have been attached to this email for reference.
