Engineer's Day | ChEA BITS Pilani
Greetings from the Chemical Engineering Association!
The Chemical Engineering Department, BITS Pilani, will celebrate Engineer's Day on 15th September 2023, 3-5:30 PM at LTC 5106.
Siddhartha Mukherjee, Technology Advisor at Air Liquide Global E&C Solutions and Author of 'Process Engineering and Plant Design - The Complete Industrial Picture' will be gracing the event as the Chief Guest and Speaker. Through his informative session, he will be detailing the role of a chemical engineer in executing a chemical process plant.
The Department will also be hosting a poster presentation event to commemorate Engineer’s Day and award the meritorious work done by its students and research scholars in the field of Chemical Engineering. ChEA invites everyone to participate in the event and present their research work in the form of a poster.
For larger participation, the deadline is September 14, 2023, and the participant must bring a hard copy of the poster (size: 2.5 ft width x 4 ft height). The poster should be displayed on the standee by 3 pm on 15th September. It is also to inform you that the three best posters (Winner, First and Second Runners-up) shall be awarded a certificate and cash prize.
Kindly confirm your participation at the earliest by entering your details in the spreadsheet to help the organizer arrange the standees.
