Who are we? 

 

We are an entirely student-run technical team, Formed in 2007, our team was formerly known as Inspired Karters - BAJA. Our team passionately built All-Terrain Vehicles and participated in national-level competitions such as BAJA SAE India and Enduro Student India. During this period, we rolled out 11 ATVs and won over 15 awards in multiple categories. 

 

Having conquered everything in BAJA, in 2020 the team decided to go one step further, and rebrand itself as Inspired Karter- GRAVITY to participate in the global event NASA Human Exploration Rover Challenge, held annually at Marshall Space flight Centre, Huntsville, Alabama, USA. Yet again we find ourselves at a familiar crossroads. After having achieved accolades such as 1st place in the mission performance rubric, top 3 in video submission, and first place in the Asia-pacific region, we look to the next challenge.
Go Karting!, competing in events like FKDC(Formula Kart Design Championship), IKC(Indian Karting Championship), and India’s biggest go-karting event ISIE Indian Karting Race, which will be held this year at Budh International Circuit, Greater Noida, the same place where Sebastian Vettel went on to win his 4th world championship. With our track record of innovation and
excellence, we are all set to conquer this arena as well. 
 
This would help us to take a step forward in preparing us to conquer Electric Solar Vehicle Championship [ESVC] held in India in 2025 and further  BWSC (Bridgestone World Solar Challenge) held biannually in Australia.

This new batch of recruits will be instrumental in steering the ship toward its new destination. As a result of this, you will no doubt learn a lot along the way. You will be managing the team funds, finding the best vendors for our requirements, negotiating better prices, researching markets, identifying potential sponsors, interacting with top executives from said firms, and pitching them an offer they can't refuse…
