The Fourth Industrial Revolution | ASME BITS Pilani
Esteemed Faculty and Dear Students,
We are pleased to announce that Dr. Piyush Desai (Ph.D.-EE, Illinois Institute of Technology, Chicago, USA) will be visiting the BITS campus on September 19, 2023. Dr. Desai invented the world's most efficient electric motor and co-founded Turntide Technologies, a unicorn company, with Bill Gates, Jeff Bezos, and Robert Downey Jr. as investors. He is also an advisor to the Government of India and IITs on startup ecosystems.
Our talk, The Fourth Industrial Revolution: Transforming 6.7 Billion Lives, will be a unique opportunity for us to learn from his expertise and insights on innovation, sustainability, entrepreneurship, and the future of electric motors. He will be giving a talk on his work at Turntide Technologies as well as meeting with students and faculty to discuss their research and startup ideas.
We encourage everyone to attend Dr. Desai's talk and take advantage of this opportunity to learn from one of the leading innovators in the world.
