Sub: A Workshop on "How to Improve Your Research Skills" (27-29 January 2024)
Dear Students,
A workshop on "How to Improve Your Research Skills" is organized by TLC from 27-29 January 2024.
Carrying out good research involves developing multiple skills at the same time. One has to develop a deep thinking habit, a questioning mind, and also should develop lateral thinking. With the right choice of the problem, he/she has to develop the skill of getting the right information in the shortest time ( literature survey). Also after solving the problem, one has to communicate his findings to experts working in that area and make them recognize the contribution. This is done through paper writing and conference presentations. Also, a researcher should be fully aware of ethical practices in research before he starts on this journey. This workshop addresses Research Preparation and Planning, How to do an effective Literature Review, How to write an Effective Research Paper/Thesis /make An Oral Presentation, How to handle Paper Reviews Effectively, Research Ethics, and general advice to students.
