We are delighted to announce that Amity University is hosting a 21-day Winter School Capacity Building Program in Geospatial Science and Technology, sponsored by the Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India.
Brief Overview of the program: The 21-day winter school in Geospatial Science and Technology (Level 1– Spatial thinking) supported by the National Geospatial Program (NGP) , Department of Science and Technology, Government of India, focuses on developing knowledge and capacity building in geospatial technologies using open-source geospatial software.
Dates of the workshop: 18 November to 7 December 2024.
Venue: Amity University, Sector-125, Noida
Mode of delivery: Offline
Objective of the training program: Gain practical research experience in emerging areas of Geospatial Technology. Design and conduct Survey using GPS Technology facilitating Spatial Data Analysis and integration with other Geospatial Data. Connect with leading R&D organizations, Industries, Private Sector facilities, Startups, and MSMEs engaged in innovative research and development initiatives.
Highlights: Sessions will be delivered in person by experienced professionals from India’s top leading Industries, Government Organizations, and Academic institutions, ensuring an interactive and immersive learning experience for all participants.

Cost: This training is fully sponsored by DST under the National Geospatial Program (NGP).

Important Information for Participants:
- For domestic travel of participants and faculty, the reimbursement for 3rd AC. or Deluxe Bus (only for outstation candidates/faculty) will be provided.
- Depending upon the availability in the Amity University accommodation would be provided on single/double occupancy basis.
- Accommodation request should be made at least 05 days before the commencement of the training program
