Library Advisory for the Comprehensive Examination Period

Dear All StudentsTo maintain operational discipline, safety, and optimal utilization of library infrastructure during peak examination hours, all students are required to comply with the following guidelines:
  • Carry your valid Student ID Card at all times​ (Mandatory). Entry without ID will not be permitted under any circumstances.​ All students must record their entry using the access machine installed at the library entrance on every visit.
  • Student ID cards are strictly non-transferable. Any misuse will invite disciplinary action.​ In the absence of a valid ID card, on-duty library staff are authorized to deny entry.
  • Outside food and beverages are strictly prohibited inside the library premises.
  • Beverages purchased from the vending machine must be consumed only in the designated common area under the Central Dome.
  • No beverages are allowed inside reading rooms. Non-compliance will attract penalties as per library policy.
  • ​​Do not place bags on the floor in the baggage area; all bags must be stored properly at the designated baggage counter.

  • Do not leave personal items (laptops, tablets, chargers, wallets, etc.) unattended for more than 30 minutes.
  • If ​you are leaving the library for longer durations, carry all belongings with you.
  •  
  • The library shall not be held responsible for any loss, theft, or misplacement of personal belongings from reading areas or baggage counters.
  • CCTV footage will not be shared under any circumstances.
  • Gathering in the lobby and other common areas is strictly prohibited.
  • Any bag exchange issues will be reviewed ​in the following day at ​1​0:00 AM as per standard protocol.
  • Students are strongly advised not to keep valuables inside bags stored in the baggage area.
  • ​All are requested to maintain silence inside the library reading rooms; loud discussions are not permitted within the reading rooms or anywhere on the library premises.
  • ​Library staff are authorized to verify student ID cards whenever required in case of any issue. All students are requested to adhere strictly to these policies to maintain a conducive and disciplined library environment during the comprehensive examination period.
