Dear Sir/Madam
Please find the revised library policies w.e.f September 1, 2021. We have revised the borrowing privileges for Faculty members from earlier 135 days to 180 days, and for First Degree students from 10 books/15 days to 10 books/20 days, Higher Degree students from 10 books/15 days to 12 books/25 days.
You can now renew books from your desktop/laptop using our on-line renewal service available in our library catalogue. In addition, to prevent any human error, we removed the renewal of books by email.
We encourage all members to renew the already issued books using the Online renewal facility at http://libcatalog.bits-pilani.ac.in/. The renewal should be made on or before the due date. You may also bring physical books to the library for renewal.

If one of your books is overdue, the system will not allow you to issue additional books from the library until you renew or return the overdue book(s).
A book which is on loan can be reserved online using Online Catalogue(KOHA) on the library portal http://libcatalog.bits-pilani.ac.in.
If any of the book issued by the user lost/damaged then they have to replace the title with latest edition or they have to pay its latest edition cost of the book along with the Admin charges of Rs. 100/- will be added for each book.
