Physics Colloquium by Prof. Sanjeev Dhurandhar, Today 6PM @ 6109
Dear all
The Physics department is organising a workshop on Gravitational Waves and LIGO India in the campus this week (15th to 19th Oct). As part of this workshop, we are also organising couple of very interesting colloquia.
The second colloquium will be given by prof Sanjeev Dhurandhar, Emeritus Professor, IUCAA Pune. Prof. Dhurandhar has been the driving force behind the proliferation of Gravitational Wave astronomy in India for past few decades and have been instrumental in setting up the LIGO India experiment.
His talk will take place in NAB 6109 today (19th Oct) at 6PM. Please find the event poster attached below for details.
