Time: 12:00 Noon to 1 PM
Venue: J. C. Chaudhry NAB Auditorium
Abstract:
This talk is about drawing a sketch of the Indian Science & Technology landscape and the Research & Innovation Ecosystem we have in our country. The narrative is likely to be built around the global scenario, our national placement vis-a-vis the world, our strengths and challenges as well as the blueprint of higher education in future. Afterwards, it would be narrowed down to the DST, SERB and the NRF in near horizon. Before the talk is concluded by the speaker, an attempt would be made to improve upon the perception of funding processes, strengths of the research proposals and expectations from the Principal Investigators and perspective of the R&D funding agencies.
