Notice for FDTS/HDD

 

The application process for the On-Campus/ Off-Campus FDTS/HDD is now open. Students can submit their online FDTS/ HDD application for the Second Semester 2021-22 via AUGSD-AGSRD website (https://academic.bits-pilani.ac.in/) by January 05, 2022.  

Following are the important points in this regard:

· The FDTS/HDD Handouts are available on AUGSD-AGSRD website.

· Operational guidelines need to be followed for the Off-campus FDTS (available on AUGSD-AGSRD website). 

· Student should select the On-Campus/ Off Campus FDTS/HDD option.

· Student should select the course number according to their graduation requirement (FDTS 16 or 9 units/ HDD 16 units).

· Students opting for Off-Campus FDTS/HDD should upload the duly filled and signed copy of Form A and B (available on website).

· Once a student will submit the online application, the Supervisor (in case of On-Campus FDTS/HDD) / Co-Supervisor (in case of Off-Campus FDTS/HDD) will receive an auto-generated email for further approval.

· On approval by the Supervisor / Co-Supervisor, an auto-generated email will be sent to HoD (Chairman of DRC) for further approval.

· On approval by HoD, student will receive an auto-generated response. Student can also check their application status on their AUGSD-AGSRD portal.  

· A dual degree student (BXAY) having two thesis options must do one FDTS in first discipline (BX) in First Semester and another FDTS in second discipline (AY) in Second Semester. However, interchange is permitted provided both HoDs agree for the swapping of semesters.

· A dual degree student (BXAY) having one TS and one PS option must do TS/PS in each discipline (X and Y).

· In case, an Off-Campus FDTS/HDD student do not receive visa by the date of semester registration, he/she need to register for On-Campus thesis and in this case, the Co-Supervisor will become the Supervisor.

· Students can refer FAQs uploaded on AUGSD-AGSRD website under Academic Documents tab for further clarification.
