International Webinar: Department of Mathematics, BITS Pilani, Pilani Campus
Dear faculty members and students,
We are happy to announce that the Department of Mathematics, BITS-Pilani, Pilani Campus, is organizing an international webinar on "Applications of Mathematics" from September 11, 2021, to November 13, 2021. The lecture(s) are scheduled every Saturday during this period.
The overall scope of the webinar will be on the following areas:
- Mathematical modelling
- Integro-partial differential equations in population balance modelling
- Waves in the fluid medium
- Computational geometry and its applications
- Groundwater modelling
- Uncertainty quantification in stochastic differential equations
The inaugural session will be on September 11, 2021, at 11:30 AM. Prof. R. N. Saha, Acting Vice-Chancellor, BITS Pilani, has agreed to grace the occasion with his presence.
